Regina Minor Football is excited to announce the kickoff of the Mighty Mites Division program for young football enthusiasts born in 2015 or 2016. This division caters to players in the U10 weight category, ensuring that kids of all sizes can get in on the action and feel like part of the team.
Practices are held twice a week, offering ample opportunities for skill development and team bonding. Games are scheduled twice a week as well, giving participants the chance to put their training to the test in a friendly, competitive environment. The season runs from mid-August to the end of September, providing plenty of football-filled fun for everyone involved.
Registration fees for the Mighty Mites Division program are set at $100, dropping to $75 if you sign up before May 15th. On top of that, there is a division fee of $275, bringing the total cost to $375. This all-inclusive fee covers equipment rental, including helmets and shoulder pads, as well as practice pants and a girdle for every player.
To ensure a level playing field, floating zones are in place to evenly distribute players among coaches each year. This promotes fairness and equal opportunities for all participants to hone their skills and enjoy the game to the fullest.
