My mum told me we were going to pick up Cinnamon. I couldn't believe it! From that moment on, my life revolved around horses. I spent every spare moment at the stables, learning, riding, and caring for my beloved Cinnamon.
As I got older, my passion for horses only grew stronger. I knew that I wanted to share this love and knowledge with others, so I decided to open my own riding school. In 1992, Mierscourt Valley Riding School was born. It started small, with just a handful of ponies and a few dedicated students.
But over the years, we have grown and gained a reputation for providing high-quality riding lessons and a safe, friendly environment for riders of all ages and abilities.
Our school is located in the picturesque Mierscourt Valley in Rainham, Kent. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside, offering the perfect backdrop for horse riding. Our facilities include a spacious arena, a selection of well-mannered and well-loved horses, and a team of experienced instructors who are passionate about teaching and sharing their knowledge.

We have well-behaved lead rein ponies for young children, as well as horses for more advanced riders. We also offer BHS (British Horse Society) training and certification, allowing riders to progress and develop their skills further.
In addition to our lessons, we also offer Pony Club parties and school holiday programmes. These are a great way for children to have fun, make new friends, and learn more about horsemanship. We provide a safe and supervised environment where children can interact with our ponies, learn how to care for them, and enjoy riding activities.
Safety is of the utmost importance to us. We are fully insured and all our staff members have undergone DBS checks to ensure the well-being of our clients.
