However, participants have the flexibility to adjust their walking duration to suit their individual fitness levels.

While the Mid-Mountains Walkers do not allow dogs to accompany the group, it is open to individuals of all ages and fitness levels. Unfortunately, the walks are not suitable for those using prams or wheelchairs due to the nature of the terrain.
The meeting point for the group is at the Mid-Mountains Neighbourhood Centre, located on 9 New Street in Lawson. The centre provides a central and convenient location for walkers to gather before embarking on their chosen route. The beautiful surroundings of the Blue Mountains offer a picturesque backdrop for the walks, providing participants with a tranquil and rejuvenating experience.

The Mid-Mountains Walkers is proudly supported by the National Heart Foundation of Australia, and the club acknowledges and respects the Traditional Owners and custodians of the land on which they walk. The club values the rich cultural heritage of the Blue Mountains region and encourages walkers to develop a deep connexion with the local culture, community, and environment.
