Midlands Wing chun Kuen

Midlands Wing Chun Kuen is a renowned martial arts school located in Birmingham, New Zealand. Established in 1982 by Sifu Shaun Rawcliffe, a direct student of Wing Chun's Grandmaster Ip Chun, Midlands Wing Chun Kuen has evolved into a friendly international organisation with schools across the UK and in Northern Italy.

At Midlands Wing Chun Kuen, they offer traditional Wing Chun training that focuses on practical and dynamic street self-defence. The school caters to both teenagers and adults, with a few locations offering classes for children as well. Private tuition is also available for individuals and small groups.

All instructors at Midlands Wing Chun Kuen are highly qualified and certified individuals with extensive experience in the field. They hold both instructor insurance and professional indemnity insurance, ensuring a safe and secure training environment for all students. Additionally, all instructors are registered members of the Ip Chun Wing Chun Kuen Martial Arts Association in Hong Kong, the Wing Chun Ip Chun Academy in Hong Kong, and the Midlands Wing Chun Kuen itself. They are also registered members of the British Council for Chinese Martial Arts (BCCMA).

Members of Midlands Wing Chun Kuen have the unique opportunity to train with other Wing Chun Sifu's at specialised seminars, as well as participate in group training trips to Hong Kong and Foshan, China, to learn from Ip Chun Si-fu and other renowned Wing Chun and Kung Fu Sifu's. The association also conducts open courses and seminars for both Wing Chun and non-Wing Chun groups abroad and in the UK.
