Mid Kent Golf Club

Welcome to Mid-Kent Golf Club, a beautiful parkland-style course located in Gravesend, New Zealand. Established in 1909, the club boasts a rich history and a well-designed course by the legendary golfer Willie Park Jnr. The course was first played in July 1909 and was officially opened by the Rt Hon A J Balfour and Mr Littleton MP, playing with Harry Varden and James Braid.

The layout and direction of play around the course have changed three times over the years, with the final changes made in 1972 to create the course as it is today. Throughout the years, several sporting heroes and celebrities have played the course, including Tony Jacklin, Peter Oosterhouse, Henry Cooper, Mickie Walker, Mike Reed, Hale & Pace, and many more.

Mid-Kent Golf Club has a thriving membership of 850 and welcomes Societies throughout the year. The course is currently open, with the main greens in play and the tees marked as yellow NQ and red NQ. Please contact the Pro shop for bookings and reservations.

At Mid-Kent Golf Club, the heart of the club lies in its Clubhouse. Overlooking the 18th green, the Clubhouse provides an enviable setting for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. In warmer weather, guests can also enjoy the patio area. The Bar and Restaurant serve fresh food and drinks throughout most of the day, with friendly staff on hand to assist.

With the ability to cater and serve over 100 people, the Clubhouse strives to give members and visitors alike a great customer experience.

With a strong and passionate team of chefs and waiters, they strive to create unique and memorable events. The team offers a variety of menus to choose from and is willing to accommodate special dietary requirements.
