About
Middleton Gymnastics Club, or MGC, has been a cornerstone of the Manchester community since 1986. Under the leadership of Glenn Prendergast, Head of Coaching, the club offers unmatched opportunities for children to engage in gymnastics within a safe and fun environment. Based in the historic Demesne school on Bowness Road, Middleton, MGC has grown to over 320 members per week.
The coaching team, including Directors Glenn Prendergast, Maxine Flanagan, and Gaz Lincoln, started their gymnastics journeys right here at MGC. These ex-gymnasts turned coaches bring valuable experience and understanding to every session. All coaches are fully qualified, holding enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding qualifications, ensuring a secure environment for all.
MGC runs well-structured programmes tailored to each child's needs, focusing on building confidence, balance, coordination, and fostering healthier lifestyles. The club operates Monday to Sunday with flexible hours to fit into busy schedules.
