Michala Jane School of Dance

School of Dance truly offers Dance for Everyone. We welcome students of all ages and abilities, from kids to adults, who are looking for qualifications, theatre performances, or simply a fun and enjoyable dance experience.

At Michala Jane School of Dance, we offer a wide range of classes in Norwich and Upper Stoke. Our classes include Ballet, Tap, Stage, Modern, Contemporary, Freestyle, Street, and Musical Theatre. In addition to dance, we also provide singing, acting, and performance skills training. Our goal is not only to teach dance techniques but also to build confidence in our students.

We believe that everyone can dance, regardless of shape, size, or ability. Our experienced and fully qualified teachers work closely with each student to ensure that they feel supported and encouraged in their dance journey. We offer regular theatre work, shows, and performances where students can showcase their talents and gain valuable performance experience.

For those interested in pursuing professional dance qualifications, we offer IDTA examinations. Our teachers are dedicated to helping students prepare for these exams and achieve their dance goals. We also provide choreography and direction services for those interested in creating their own dance pieces.

In addition to our regular classes, we also offer education and social care workshops, as well as a summer school programme. We can also provide dance entertainment for children's parties, making them fun and memorable experiences.

We pride ourselves on our friendly and inclusive atmosphere, where students can make new friends and create lifelong memories. Many of our students have had the opportunity to perform at prestigious venues such as the Theatre Royal Norwich and even with stars from Strictly Come Dancing.

Our school was established in 1995 with a commitment to providing high-quality dance education and fostering a love for dance in all individuals.

Our Norwich classes are held at St Albans Church Hall, Grove Walk, Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 2QF, while our Upper Stoke classes take place at St Georges Hall, Long Lane, Upper Stoke Holy Cross, Norfolk, NR14 8ND.
