At Mescar Fisheries, we are committed to providing high-quality fishing experiences for our members. Our lakes are well-maintained and stocked with a variety of fish, offering a diverse range of fishing opportunities. We take pride in offering a range of quality products, which have been tested by both us and many of our members, ensuring you can fish with confidence.
Please note that due to unforeseen stocking issues, we regret to inform everyone that we will no longer be offering a click and collect service. However, we hope to bring this service back in the future when stock becomes more readily available. If any members require tackle and want to check if it's in stock, please feel free to contact us.
Currently, membership applications are paused, as we have reached full capacity. We will not be accepting any new applications until further notice. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to keep an eye out for updates regarding membership availability.
Our opening hours vary depending on the site. The main site is open from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, while Greens Lane operates under the same hours. Please note that the caf's last food order is 15 minutes before closing time. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, our facilities are closed, but we are open on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
During the Christmas period, our lakes are closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. However, the cabin reopens during weekends from the 1st of February 2024 and returns to normal hours from the 1st of March 2024. While the cabin is closed, we are still available for purchasing pellets, tackle, and other supplies.
Please be aware that the Liverpool Dockers are hosting their usual Winter league on Greens Lane, and as a result, pleasure pegs will not be available on certain dates. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Our caf operates on specific days, which are subject to change. It is advisable to check our latest announcements for updated caf opening and closure times. During the Grand National weekend, the caf will be closed on Saturday, 9th April, and Sunday, 10th April.
We want to thank all our members for their ongoing support. As winter approaches, we would like to inform you that the caf's winter hours are no longer in effect, and it is now serving food from Tuesday to Sunday. However, from the 13th of December 2021, the caf will only be open on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
For our anglers participating in open matches, please note that the Sunday open match on Mistral will now take place on Marin until further notice, with the normal draw time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
To our delight, matches are back on! However, due to ongoing work around Mistral, the open matches will be held on Marin for the time being. Limited spaces are available for these matches, so we encourage anglers to book in advance to avoid any disappointment.
We are pleased to announce that Mescar Fisheries will be open tomorrow. However, it is important to note that a government lockdown is still in effect, and we kindly ask all anglers to adhere to our on-site rules to ensure everyone's safety.
