At the Mersey Budo Ju Jitsu Academy in Liverpool, Sensei Amos Sedgewick makes martial arts training an adventure. With a 9th Dan black belt and years of experience under his belt, Amos shares his mastery in traditional Japanese Ju Jitsu, the Samurai's combat system. It's not just about self-defence—it's about getting fit, strong, and confident while having a blast.
Students dive into a variety of techniques from blocks and punches to throws and groundwork, even wielding weapons. And for those craving variety, the Liverpool Aikido Club shares the same dojo. Aikido, focusing on redirecting an opponent's energy, brings in a unique twist to training with its locking and throwing moves.
