Merinda Park Basketball Club Inc. is a reputable basketball club in Cranbourne, Australia. Established in February 1998, the club has been a prominent fixture in the Casey Area for over 25 years. Starting with just 20 teams in its inaugural season, Merinda Park now boasts a thriving membership base and has never missed winning a topship in any season. In fact, out of the original 20 teams, an impressive 17 reached the finals in their debut season, with 13 of them making it to the grand final. Furthermore, the club achieved nine grand final victories, solidifying its position as a force to be reckoned with in local basketball.
The primary goal of Merinda Park Basketball Club is to foster the love of basketball among its members and develop their fundamental skills in a fun and engaging manner. Notable achievements include Katie Basterfield being named a finalist for Domestic Coach of the Year in 2022, and Beck Jinnette receiving recognition as a finalist for Volunteer of the Year in the same year.
