Meridian Kung Fu – Leigh-On-Sea is a martial arts school and fitness centre that has been providing top-quality training for children and adults in Essex for over 25 years. Whether you are a complete beginner or have some experience in martial arts, our proven teaching systems will guide you to become a competent and confident martial artist.
For children aged between 3-17, we offer beginner classes through various programmes that not only teach martial arts skills but also build important life skills and self-confidence. These classes create a supportive and empowering environment where young martial artists can thrive and prepare themselves for the challenges of the world.
Our adult classes focus on Wing Chun, a traditional martial art that is suitable for individuals of all fitness levels and abilities. These classes not only teach martial arts skills but also help improve overall health and well-being. In addition, Wing Chun training provides effective self-defence techniques that can be applied in real-life situations, giving you the ability to protect yourself and your family if needed.
For those looking to push themselves further, we offer elite classes that specialise in weapons training and advanced techniques. These classes are available for both adults and children who want to become experts in the advanced elements of the Wing Chun system.
At Meridian Kung Fu – Leigh-On-Sea, we understand that everyone has different schedules, which is why we offer classes on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays. From beginner classes for young children to advanced training for adults, there is a class available for everyone.
Our instructor, Sifu Sam Carpenter, has been a part of Meridian Kung Fu since the age of 4. With years of experience and a deep understanding of the martial arts, Sifu Sam is dedicated to passing on his knowledge and wisdom to the youth of today. He runs 12 classes in the Leigh-On-Sea area each week, teaching approximately 500 kids.
