The Meridian Kung Fu (UK) Instructor Programme is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about Mixed Martial Arts and want to take their skills to the next level. This rigorous training programme is designed to prepare individuals to become certified Meridian Kung Fu Instructors and potentially run their own branch. It's a chance for a complete career change or a new direction in life, and it's completely free of charge.
Led by experienced Instructor and business mentor Sifu Steve Carpenter, the programme consists of 6 levels of progression. Participants will learn coaching and management skills through monthly 2-hour seminars at our headquarters. These seminars are supplemented with hands-on training in actual classes once a week to develop the high level of skill required to become a Meridian Kung Fu (UK) Coach.
Each level of the programme focuses on specific areas of development, gradually building up the skills and knowledge needed to become a successful instructor. From basic class involvement duties and coaching tasks under supervision, to advanced coaching skills and branch management, participants will be equipped with the expertise they need to make a real difference in the lives of their students.
Upon completion of Level 6, participants will be awarded a Provisional Instructor status. This opens up the opportunity to open a branch on a one-year trial period, subject to meeting the standards outlined in the Instructor's handbook. If all requirements are met, full Instructor status will be granted. In addition, Meridian Kung Fu (UK) can offer a leased full-time premises in any area of the UK if the Instructor requires it.
It's important to note that the Meridian Kung Fu (UK) Instructor Programme only accepts a limited number of new recruits each year. The guidelines for participation are strict and must be followed throughout the 4-year programme. Participants will also need to purchase coaching kit, coaching manual, and undergo a DBS check.
Becoming a Meridian Kung Fu (UK) Instructor is more than just a job; it is a passion. If you're interested in learning more about the programme, we encourage you to speak to your branch instructor. They will be able to provide you with more information and guide you through the application process. It's time to take your love for Mixed Martial Arts to the next level and make a lasting impact on the lives of others.
