Meriden Archery Club

Welcome to Meriden Archery Club, located in the heart of Warwickshire, England. Established in 1936, the Club recently celebrated its 85th anniversary in 2021. Meriden Archery Club is a friendly and enthusiastic group of archers, affiliated with Archery GB and adhering to their rules and regulations.

At Meriden Archery Club, archers of all skill levels and disciplines are welcome. Whether you shoot Recurve, Compound, Barebow, or Longbow, you will find a supportive community of fellow archers here. We pride ourselves on fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

Nestled within the beautiful Packington Estate, our shooting grounds, known as the Forest Grounds, provide an idyllic setting for our members. Conveniently located less than a mile from the traditional Centre of England in Meriden, our shooting grounds are available every day of the year and accessible at any time of the day.

Our main shooting field offers a range of metric and imperial distances to accommodate shooters of all abilities. In addition, we have an Indoor Range that was opened in 2023, equipped with 5 bosses at 18m. The Paddock, located within our grounds, features a large covered shooting area for bow tuning and practise, complete with targets at distances up to 50 metres. It also boasts a sheltered area for shooting and floodlighting.

In addition to our exceptional facilities, Meriden Archery Club hosts various events throughout the year. We organise Open Tournaments and Club Shoots, as well as offer a number of Beginners Courses during the Spring and Summer months. Taster sessions are also available upon request, giving individuals the opportunity to experience the thrill of archery.
