From there, you can change to the Metropolitan Line north towards Moor Park, which is a short 10-minute journey. Alternatively, you can continue to Rickmansworth and take the Metropolitan Line south for one stop to Moor Park. Connecting trains are usually available within 5 minutes at either station.
When arriving by car, it is important to note that vehicle access is only possible via Sandy Lodge Lane, and not through the Moor Park Estate. From the south and west, drivers can take the M25 and follow signs for Rickmansworth and Northwood. After passing the Old Green Man pub, they can turn left and follow Batchworth lane until reaching the junction with the A4125. Turning left onto Sandy Lodge Lane, they can continue until the main Merchant Taylors' School entrance is seen on the right.
Those coming from the M1 can exit at J5 and take the A4008 towards Watford. Then, at the second roundabout, they should bear left onto the A411. Follow the one-way system into Dalton Way, turn right at the Bushey railway arches roundabout, and then into Eastbury Road, which becomes Hampermill Lane. Continuing straight for approximately 5–10 minutes, drivers will eventually reach Sandy Lodge Lane on the right, just before the Esso Station.
Travelling from London via the A40, drivers can take the A4180 through Ruislip and follow Duck's Hill Road until it ends. Turning left onto the A404, also known as the Rickmansworth Road, they can pass Mount Vernon Hospital and turn right into Batchworth Lane at the Prince of Wales Pub. Following Batchworth Lane until it ends, they can then turn left into Sandy Lodge Road and drive down the hill. Immediately after the Esso Station, they should turn left into Sandy Lane.
