Mercer Aerodrome is equipped with an elevation of 30 AWIB & Unattended Frequency at 119. 20. The runway, which is both grass and seal, is designated R09/27 and spans 1050m within the MBZ (Mandatory Broadcast Zone) and contains P212. All circuits are to be performed to the south of the airfield.
It's important to note that regular skydiving and model aircraft activities take place at Mercer Aerodrome. However, the aerodrome is still available for limited use, subject to prior arrangement with the operator, due to ongoing work-in-progress on the airfield.
Private operators are required to pay landing fees of $11+GST, while commercial operators are requested to contact the aerodrome for further information. Hangarage is available at Mercer Aerodrome, with casual rates of $30/night and outside tie-down areas priced at $10/night.
