ESM Hockey Club in Edinburgh is excited to promote their upcoming local Hockey event for all interested players. With five fantastic teams, including a veteran's team, the club warmly welcomes players of all abilities, whether they are beginners or experienced.
New members are encouraged to join at any time during the season. To find out more information and get involved, interested players can easily contact the club. It's important to note that due to ESM Covid Guidelines, players must register before attending training for the 20/21 season, which has already begun.
For those interested in men's hockey training, sessions take place on Thursdays at the Inverleith pitch, accessible from East Fettes Avenue in Edinburgh. The club also offers mixed fitness training on Mondays at the same venue, although it is currently suspended for the 20/21 season.
The first team at ESM Hockey Club will be competing in the National League and has set their sights on promotion after an impressive performance in National 2 in the previous season. The second team, on the other hand, will be playing in the Regional League and consists of welcoming and sociable players who have been playing together for years.
If you're looking for a team to be a part of, the third team at ESM Hockey Club competes in East District Division 3. Additionally, the fourth team serves as a development team that acts as a crucial bridge between the Youth Section and the Men's squads.
For those who are young at heart and seasoned in experience, the Veteran's team is open to players of all ages. They play once a month at Goldenacre from September to May and even take part in the Vets' end of season tournament. The games are competitive yet enjoyable, and the club always welcomes new players with open arms.
If you're interested in any of the teams at ESM Hockey Club or have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with them. They will be more than happy to provide you with all the information you need to join in on the hockey fun.
