Flagstaff Hill Golf Club is excited to announce the upcoming Men's Foursomes Championships event! This prestigious amateur golf tournament will test the skills of players over two consecutive Saturdays. Teams of two will compete in a challenging format that will keep everyone on their toes.
The format involves alternating tees on each hole and taking turns hitting the ball until it's holed. With the tee order reversed for the second round, players will need to strategize and work together to come out on top. The championship winners will be determined based on gross scores, so every stroke counts!
In the event of a tie, a thrilling playoff over 2 holes followed by sudden death from the 3rd hole will determine the champion. For those looking to level the playing field, there is a handicap-based competition where team handicaps are the average of the two players.
Players who choose to participate in the Foursomes Championships may also have the option to play in the same group as regular competition players. However, please note that certain prizes may not be eligible for Foursomes players.
