The Kempston Park Indoor Bowls Club is excited to announce its upcoming local Lawn Bowls event in Bedford! This event is open to all interested players in the community, providing a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and enjoy a friendly competition with fellow bowlers.
Membership at the Kempston Park Indoor Bowls Club offers a range of options to suit different individuals. For those looking for full access and voting rights, the Full Bowling Membership is available. By paying an annual subscription fee of £80.00, members receive a voting 'A-share' and can bowl at any time the Club is open. Please note that members also need to pay the normal 'Rink Fee' of £3.50 per game and rink availability. However, they are granted access to all other club facilities, unless they are booked for special events.
Additionally, we offer the prestigious Life Membership to individuals who have shown exceptional dedication and service to our Company and/or Club. Life members enjoy the same facilities as full bowling members, and their dedication is recognised without the burden of an annual membership cost.
For young bowlers under the age of 18, our Junior Membership provides a gateway to the world of Lawn Bowls. The annual fee for junior membership is £12.00, which increases to the full membership fee if they choose to participate in club friendlies or competitions. It's worth mentioning that junior members below the age of 13 years must have adult supervision while on club premises.
We also offer a special membership category for individuals with disabilities or those who are recovering from illness. The Wheelstar & Tibbs Dementia Membership allows members to access bowling during non-peak times at a greatly reduced annual fee of £12.00. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the sport!
If you're more interested in socialising and enjoying the club's facilities without accessing the bowling facilities, our Social Membership is perfect for you. For a fee of £17.00, members gain access to all non-bowling amenities, allowing them to soak up the vibrant atmosphere of our club.
Visitors to the area are not left out either! We welcome temporary members who can apply for a monthly membership fee, as determined by the Club. Temporary members are also able to bring up to 2 guests at any one time, provided they do not exceed a maximum of 4 visits per year.
Please note that the classes of membership may be amended, removed, or added based on the recommendations of our directors, subject to the approval of a majority vote by our members at the Annual General Meeting.
