The head coach of Melbourne Brasil Futsal is Gui Costa, who founded MBFA in 2013. Gui, with almost two decades of coaching experience at the highest levels, is passionate about passing on his Brazilian heritage and love for futsal to as many players as possible. As the founder and head coach, Gui has travelled to more than 15 countries to coach futsal. Under his guidance, Melbourne Brasil Futsal focuses on playing the Brazilian way, emphasising playing from the back and teaching players how to take the ball to the final stages of the game.

The academy also has a group of qualified coaches trained under Gui to ensure that all players learn the Brazilian style of gameplay.

MBFA offers a range of programmes for players of all ages and skill levels. They have development academies suitable for beginners, as well as advanced academies for more experienced players. Their programmes cater to ages U8 to U17 and also include futsal competitions in Term 4. In addition to their weekly programmes, Melbourne Brasil Futsal also organises school tournaments for primary and secondary schools.
