Ultimate Victoria is excited to announce the upcoming local Ultimate Frisbee events in Melbourne. The Melbourne Hat, Melbourne Tournament, and Melbourne Masters will be held at Albert Park on December 14th and 15th, 2024. With over 300 players joining in the fun last year, these events are not to be missed.
Last year's Melbourne Hat tournament, now in its 36th year, saw players battling it out in the rain with Team C emerging as the champions. The Spirit winners hailed from Team A, showcasing the camaraderie and sportsmanship within the Ultimate Victoria community. The following day, Melbourne Masters featured a range of age groups with winners like Jose Milan, Penny Khan, and more taking home the glory in their respective categories.
Wrapping up the weekend was the Melbourne Tournament, where teams from Victoria and South Australia competed for the top spots. Ellipsis Dogs Out and Melbourne Juggernaut emerged victorious in the women's and open divisions respectively, with Chilly Pepper and Outbreak Influenza winning the Spirit of the Game awards.
