Under the visionary leadership of Director Alisa Finney and Resident Choreographer Simon Hoy, MBC has created nine new programs, showcasing over thirty original works. These performances take audiences on a mesmerising choreographic journey, blending physicality with a deep appreciation for musicality.
MBC boasts a roster of highly skilled classical dancers, many of whom have trained at esteemed companies such as The Australian Ballet, The Paris Opera, and the Royal Ballet Company. In recent years, MBC has premiered new full-length programs and embarked on extensive tours throughout Australia, wowing audiences in Auckland as well. In 2016, MBC has ambitious plans to present over 30 performances and conduct more than 50 workshops across the country, showcasing their commitment to sharing their passion for dance with as many people as possible.
