Fr Murphy Athletic Club is gearing up for the Meath Outdoor Track and Field League Day 2, calling on Masters, Seniors, Juniors & Juvenile members to join in on the action. The upcoming event is set to take place on Wednesday, May 31st at Claremont for Round 2 following the success of the 1st League.
The Inter Club Track & Field League Night 2 is scheduled to start at 7:00 pm, featuring a well-planned program tailored per age category. The riveting 1500m race will kick off at 8:30 pm, with a thrilling Long Jump event to follow. Remember, Juveniles can only compete within their respective age groups, each athlete limited to participating in a maximum of two events.
With each leg counting the best 20 scores from clubs, there are specific rules in place for medal placements across various sections. Clubs looking to take part will be charged an entry fee of €20.00, with the Field events for Junior, Senior & Masters bringing the night's activities to a close.
To be eligible to participate, individuals must hold membership with the club, which includes both Meath athletics and Athletics Ireland memberships. And mark your calendars for the final league date on June 21st – any member who attends at least 2 of the 3 league nights will be entered into a draw to win exclusive Fr Murphy's club shop merchandise. It's a small token of appreciation for all the support shown to the club.
