About
Skaters, check this out! Meanwhile Skate Park, nestled in the heart of London’s Meanwhile Gardens, is your go-to spot for a seriously fun session on the board. Meanwhile Gardens has been buzzing since '76, all thanks to the locals, and even snagged The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in 2017.
The skate park itself is legendary and welcomes everyone from rookies to pros. As you roll up, remember to give folks their space, chuck your rubbish in the bins, and skip the fires and BBQs – no need to be that guy. Want to do some filming or arrange a photo shoot? Just hit up the admin team for the green light.
Meanwhile Gardens isn’t just a pretty face either – it’s got a wicked arboretum with 300 trees (about 50 species) and a cool Moroccan Garden. Plus, there’s heaps of activities like gardening sessions with Mary and the Kensington & Chelsea MIND Wildlife Garden Project.
Families, listen up! The Meanwhile Playhut is ready for your little ones. Residents in RBKC get free sessions, with Nature Explorers for kids under 6 running on Thursdays, 9:15 am to 11:15 am. And if you’re into kitchen gardening, don’t miss Fork to Fork Wednesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Mark your diaries for June 24th, when the Future of the Factory event kicks off. Expect free music, workshops, and a chance to shape the future of the space starting from 2:30 pm.
So, whether you're shredding the half-pipe or chilling out with nature, Meanwhile Skate Park in Meanwhile Gardens is where it's at. Grab your board and join the community – it's going to be epic!
