Welcome to Meadowlands Night Fishing at Coventry's premier fishery! This event is perfect for all fishing enthusiasts who are looking for a memorable night fishing experience.
Located in Ryton on the outskirts of Coventry, Meadowlands Fishery offers two lakes, Lambsdown and Warren, with a total of 108 pegs for fishing. Lambsdown, the largest lake spanning 11 acres, is known for its fantastic carp fishing during the summer and bream fishing during the winter. Carp weighing up to 27lb can be caught here, and the summer matches often see 200lb of carp being caught.
Warren, the smaller lake also spanning 11 acres, is perfect for club matches and provides great carp and bream fishing opportunities. Whether you're into pleasure fishing or looking for a 24-hour experience, Meadowlands has got you covered.
For pleasure fishing, the cost is £11 per peg (£15 for 2 rods), and a 24-hour ticket is available for £20 (2 rods). If you're interested in booking a match, it is £11 per peg booked. Matches on Warren must be booked for the whole pool, but if you pay for half the pegs, you can have the entire pool to yourself.
With a minimum capacity of 70 anglers, Meadowlands Fishery opens its doors at 7am every day, following specific rules and restrictions to ensure a fair and safe fishing environment. It is a runs water fishery, boasting carp up to 31lb. Night anglers must be members to guarantee everyone's safety and security.
At Meadowlands, bait boats and spodding are allowed, and you can use any rig. However, it is crucial to use barbless hooks for conservation purposes. When it comes to bait, fishery pellets are required, but you can also use particles or boilies for feeding. Ensuring accuracy in feeding is essential, and fishing over your clipped-up spod rod is recommended. Keep in mind that the margins come alive in the evenings, so pay special attention to them.

Meadowlands Fishery has a rich history, starting as a sand and gravel excavation site in the 1980s. It was later transformed into a fishery in the 1990s by John Bloor and eventually taken over by Dean Young and his consortium in 2000. Today, this exceptional fishery is managed by three friends, Mick and Tim Bull, along with Nigel Harrhy, who together have over 30 years of fishing experience. Mick, in fact, even won the prestigious Fish O'Mania final in 2008.
