MBJFC, short for Mordialloc Braeside Junior Football Club, is a vibrant and inclusive AFL football club located in Parkdale, Australia. With a rich history of fostering junior sport for over 50 years, MBJFC is dedicated to providing boys and girls with the opportunity to participate and excel in Australian Rules Football.
The club offers a range of teams for players of all ages and genders. Boys and girls can join the mixed teams available for the under 8, under 9, under 10, under 11, under 12, under 13, and under 14 age groups. There are also dedicated girls' teams for under 8 through under 18, allowing female athletes to showcase their skills and passion for the game. Additionally, boys have the opportunity to join the under 15, under 16, and under 17.

MBJFC understands the importance of creating a positive and supportive environment for its players. The club ensures that age group allocations are based on the players' ages as of January 1st each year, allowing for fair and age-appropriate competition. Membership fees can be conveniently paid online by credit card, ensuring a seamless registration process for all players.
In 2024, the registration process for returning players has been updated to the Play HQ platform. Parents or guardians are required to “Claim” their child's profile during the registration process, following the instructions provided by the club. New players who have never participated in a football competition are also welcome to join MBJFC. If they meet the age requirement of being at least 7 years old by April 1st of the current year, they are eligible to become a part of the club.
For players transferring from another club to MBJFC, a completed SMJFL Player Transfer Form and proof of date of birth, such as a birth certificate or passport, are necessary. These documents can be emailed to the club's Registrar for processing.
The club's home ground, Walter Galt Reserve in Parkdale, serves as a welcoming and well-equipped venue for all games and training sessions.
