Mazenod Old Collegians Football Club (MOCFC) is a prominent Australian Rules Football club located in Glen Waverley, Victoria. Founded in 1977, the club has a rich history and is widely known for its success and strong community involvement.
MOCFC initially competed in the Eastern Suburban Churches Football Association (ESCFA) and played its first competitive season in 1978. The club quickly gained recognition and earned promotion in 1988 after winning the B grade topship. Following this success, MOCFC made the strategic decision to join the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) and entered the competition in 1989, starting in the F Grade.
Since joining the VAFA, MOCFC has experienced tremendous growth and accomplishments. Within seven years of joining the association, the club achieved promotion to the prestigious A grade. The club's dedication and performance have been recognised by the VAFA, as MOCFC won the coveted VAFA Club of the Year award on two occasions.
As of 2021, MOCFC has an impressive record, with an impressive total of 29 topship flags. The most recent triumph came in 2021 when the Division 1 U19 team secured the minor topship, despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
