The clubhouse, a charming brick building constructed in 1966, provides a welcoming atmosphere for members and visitors alike. Upstairs, there is a bar and social area where sailors can relax and enjoy uninterrupted views of the stunning sailing waters and picturesque countryside. During the colder months, members can watch the sailing action from the warmth and comfort of the upstairs viewing area.
On the ground floor, there is a well-equipped galley and seating area for refreshments. The recently refurbished showers in the male and female changing rooms provide added convenience and comfort. Even when the clubhouse is closed, members have access to the changing rooms and toilet facilities.
The exterior of the club features a private car park to the East, a dinghy park, and a grassed area perfect for picnicking and outdoor enjoyment. There is also a separate dinghy park and camping area to the West, along with a safety boat storage compound. Additionally, the club offers storage options for kayaks, canoes, and maintenance equipment.
Sailing enthusiasts will find a full seasonal programme catering to various disciplines, including Dinghies, Keelboats, Cadet/short course racing, Training, Kayaking, Paddle boarding, and Windsurfing. Joint handicap racing with the neighbouring H(B)SC enhances the competitive spirit. The club also organises the highly anticipated Maylandsea Bay Week regatta, known for its vibrant and sociable atmosphere.
