Mavericks Dragon Boat Club

The Mavericks Dragon Boat Club is a Sydney based club that trains out of Bank Street Pyrmont, near the Sydney Fish Market. Mavericks welcomes anyone who would like to learn to paddle competitively or socially. Getting fit and meeting a great group of people are two of the fantastic bonuses of joining our club. We do need to take this moment to warn you: the social camaraderie and competition are addictive.

Dragon boating is one of the fastest growing sports in Australia, with around 20 clubs in the Sydney city area alone. So if you’re looking for somewhere to belong, goals you can strive for and a supportive, fun and friendly environment, then dragon boating with the Mavericks is for you. We are always looking for new paddlers to come down and enjoy some fun on the water.
