Matrix Martial Arts

Matrix Martial Arts is a physical fitness programme located in Glossop, New Zealand. This programme offers a unique and holistic approach to martial arts, focusing not only on perfecting kicks and punches but also on building confidence, strength, and achieving personal growth.

At Matrix Martial Arts, participants of all ages and stages are welcome to join. The programme offers a variety of classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels.

For children between the ages of 6 and 8, the Ninjas class is available. This 45-minute class teaches martial arts skills, basic self-defence techniques, and helps improve self-discipline.

The Junior class is designed for children between the ages of 8 and 13. This 60-minute class focuses on teaching fundamental techniques and welcomes beginners of all levels.

Adults can participate in 45 to 60-minute long classes that aim to build inner strength, stamina, and flexibility through martial arts training. Beginners are always welcome in these classes.

Additionally, there is a special beginners' class for women. This class, lasting 45 to 60 minutes, focuses on building self-confidence and redefining mindset through martial arts practise.

Matrix Martial Arts is led by Sensei Jake Johnson, a 4th Dan Black Belt and World Champion. Sensei Jake is highly experienced and provides support and encouragement to all participants, regardless of their fitness or experience level.

Matrix Martial Arts has two locations in Glossop. The main headquarters is situated at Unit 16 Waterside Business Park, Hadfield, Glossop, Derbyshire, SK13 1BE. The second location, for Matrix Martial Arts – Glossop Pure Vibes, is at Whitfield Community Centre, Ebenezer Street, Glossop, Derbyshire, SK13 8JY.
