Welcome to Martial Arts Spirit | Rooty Hill! At Martial Arts Spirit, our goal is to kickstart our students' martial arts journey and provide a place for everyone in our family. Whether you are a young child looking to build confidence or an adult seeking stress relief, we have programmes designed to meet your needs.
Before you start your martial arts journey with us, we recommend arriving 10 minutes before class to meet our friendly staff and receive your uniform. Don't forget to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated during the class. Our staff will be more than happy to give you a tour of our facilities and answer any questions you may have.
Once class begins, you'll be ready to kickstart your training! Remember to take off your shoes and socks and place them in the shelves provided, and parents are welcome to join their shy child on the mats. We start each class with a set stretching routine to prevent injuries and then move on to warm-up exercises to gradually prepare our bodies and muscles for the main component of the class.
During the main component of the class, our experienced instructors will teach you the focus of the week. Each week is different, so you can expect to learn a variety of techniques, from kicks to punches to self-defence. Our classes are designed to help you progress towards your next belt and improve your martial arts skills.
As the class comes to an end, we will guide you through a cool-down session to bring your heart rate down and end the class on a positive note. From stretches to meditation, you'll leave feeling great after a rewarding training session.

Our programmes include Mini Rangers for children ages 3-6, Martial Rangers for ages 7-12, and Teens & Adults for ages 13 and above. Additionally, we offer fitness boxing, TKD poomsae, black belt squad, and sparring classes to provide a well-rounded training experience.
