Marple Golf Club

Welcome to Marple Golf Club! Located in the picturesque town of Marple in Stockport, this golf club was established in 1892 and is known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The course is a beautiful parkland set-up with stunning views of Manchester, including the Hilton Hotel, which can be seen from the 1st tee and the Clubhouse.

The Clubhouse at Marple Golf Club was built in 1892 and is the perfect place for golfers to relax after their round. Situated next to the 18th fairway, the Clubhouse offers a balcony where golfers can enjoy the beautiful view and watch the sun set over Manchester on warm summer evenings.

The bar and catering staff, led by Steward Colin Blease and Stewardess Dawn Blease, provide a warm and friendly welcome to members and visitors alike. The bar offers a wide range of locally produced cask ales, lagers, and wines to suit all tastes. The Dining Room can accommodate up to 120 people and is an ideal venue for various events, from fashion shows to birthday celebrations.

The greens team at Marple Golf Club is headed up by Chris Porter, who joined in November 2021. He has made significant improvements to the course, including drainage work and the addition of a new bunker on the third hole. The course is looking in excellent condition thanks to the hard work of Chris and his team, which includes Carl, Wayne, and Joe.

For women interested in golf, Marple Golf Club offers an active Women's section for all ages and abilities. The club's beautiful parkland course with panoramic views provides a perfect setting for women to play golf, have fun, and stay fit. Marple Golf Club welcomes golfers of all levels, from beginners to scratch players.
