Kids Lesson – We offer specialised lessons for kids, ensuring that they have a safe and enjoyable experience while learning to surf. Our coaches have experience working with children and know how to create a fun and engaging environment for their lessons.

Woolworths Surf Groms - We are proud to be a part of the Woolworths Surf Groms programme, which aims to introduce kids aged 5-12 to the joys of surfing in a safe and structured environment. Our coaches are trained by Surfing WA and follow a nationally recognised curriculum, ensuring that your child receives quality instruction.

Hire and Guided Tours – If you already have some surfing experience and just need to hire equipment, or if you want to explore the Margaret River region with a knowledgeable guide, we offer surfboard hire and guided tours. Our equipment is well-maintained and suitable for all levels of surfers. Our guided tours will take you to some of the most stunning surf spots in the area and provide valuable insights into the local surf culture.

At Margaret River Surfing Academy, safety is our top priority. All of our coaches hold surf rescue qualifications, are Level One and/or performance qualified, and have undergone working with children checks. We also have a registered paramedic on our team who has trained emergency service personnel for many years. You can feel confident knowing that you are in safe and capable hands.

We are proud to be the first established surf school in Margaret River and have been sharing our passion for surfing with the community for over 28 years. Our founder, ex-professional surfer Josh Palmateer, has a deep connexion to the Margaret River region and is dedicated to spreading knowledge about its waves.
