Mantkd Taekwondo Academy is proud to be a member of British Taekwondo, the National Governing Body for World Taekwondo in the United Kingdom. We are also associated with the World Taekwondo organisation (WT) of Korea, connecting us to a global community of dedicated practitioners. Despite being a few clubs, our strong links to national and international organisations, masters, and events allow us to provide dynamic and high-quality training to our students.

At Mantkd Taekwondo Academy, we believe that Taekwondo is a martial art suitable for all ages, genders, and abilities. It is not only a highly effective form of self-defence but also a comprehensive fitness programme. Taekwondo has evolved from its ancient Korean martial arts roots to its modern Olympic-style, making it a versatile and accessible discipline. Whether you are a beginner or have experience in other martial arts, Taekwondo can be a fantastic cross-training opportunity.

Our professional instructors at Mantkd Taekwondo Academy have been trained and vetted by British Taekwondo, ensuring that you receive the best guidance and support during your training. They are knowledgeable, experienced, and dedicated to helping you become the best version of yourself. Whether you are interested in self-defence techniques, improving your fitness level, or simply learning martial arts, our instructors are here to guide you every step of the way.

Membership at Mantkd Taekwondo Academy is currently 25 with British Taekwondo. Once you become a member, we encourage you to purchase a dobok (uniform) to fully immerse yourself in the Taekwondo experience. You can approach any instructor at any of our clubs, and they will be more than happy to provide guidance on various techniques, such as self-defence and exercise routines.

As a club that believes in giving back to the community, Mantkd Taekwondo Academy is now linked to The Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation (THF). We actively organise events and fundraisers to support refugees worldwide through THF. By participating in our events, you not only enhance your Taekwondo skills but also contribute to this worthy cause.

Our Chief Coach, Master Bilal Naqshbandi, leads Mantkd Taekwondo Academy with passion and expertise. Master Bilal began learning Taekwondo in 1984 and has achieved the rank of 1st Dan. He is an International Poomsae judge and an approved examiner. Master Bilal competes and judges at Poomsae competitions in the UK and internationally.

With his dedicated team of instructors and students, Mantkd Taekwondo Academy offers classes at various venues around Manchester.

If you are interested in joining Mantkd Taekwondo Academy or would like more information, please don't hesitate to contact us. We offer sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sports Barn, as well as sessions on Saturdays at different times for different age groups and skill levels.
