Welcome to Mansfield Hockey Club! Established in 1950, we are a friendly and competitive hockey club based in Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. We pride ourselves on providing low-cost hockey to players of all abilities, catering to age groups ranging from 13 to 80 years old.
In addition to our own club, we are affiliated with Ashfield Aztecs Ladies and Mansfield Aztecs Junior Hockey Clubs. This allows us to offer a comprehensive hockey experience for players of all ages and skill levels.
At Mansfield Hockey Club, we have five teams that compete in the Midlands Hockey League. Whether you're a seasoned player looking for a challenging competitive environment or a newcomer to the sport, we have a team that will suit your level of play. From our super competitive 1st XI to our 5th XI, we strive to provide a level of hockey that is right for you.
To help our members improve their skills and develop their game, we offer two training sessions per week. Training is included in the annual subscription and takes place on Wednesday evenings for the 1st and 2nd XIs, and Thursday evenings for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th XIs. Our training sessions are designed to cater to a wide range of abilities, ensuring that all our members have the opportunity to grow and improve.
Since 2021, Mansfield Hockey Club has proudly achieved ClubMark accreditation in collaboration with England Hockey and Sport England. This accreditation demonstrates our commitment to providing excellent opportunities and ensuring the welfare of all our members through effective club management.
