Mandurah Makos

Welcome to the Mandurah Makos AFL Masters Football Club, located in the beautiful coastal town of Mandurah, Western Australia. The Mandurah Makos are a proud member of AFL Masters, a football league specifically designed for mature players to participate in Australian Rules Football in a safe and enjoyable manner. Our club provides a platform for players to compete with similarly aged individuals while promoting physical activity, health, and fitness.

At the Mandurah Makos, winning is not our primary focus. Instead, we prioritise the spirit of “FOOTBALL FOR KICKS,” which encourages social interaction between teams and players, fostering camaraderie and a sense of community within our organisation.

Our training sessions are held on Wednesdays and Fridays at the Rushton Park North Oval. The Club Rooms open at 5 pm, with sessions commencing at 5:30 pm. Training is conducted at your own pace, and you can attend as frequently as you wish. We provide ICE and First Aid services, ensuring the safety and well-being of our players.

Additionally, we welcome kids to accompany their dads during training, and on Friday nights, we hold a BBQ where partners and children are also invited to join in on the fun. Trainees of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned veterans with over 300 games under their belt, will find an inclusive and supportive environment with our experienced coaches.

Our club facilities are situated at Rushton Park North, accessible through Thomson Street in Mandurah. We offer ample parking options and provide access to a fully equipped change room facility with showers and other necessary amenities. During and after training sessions, our clubhouse is open, offering a BBQ, bar, and live footy games to enjoy.
