The Manchester Academy of Community Gymnastics, located in Salford, is a gymnastics club dedicated to providing a safe, friendly, and inclusive environment for individuals of all ages and abilities. With a team of highly qualified coaches, the club offers a wide range of gymnastics programmes designed to cater to the needs and goals of each individual gymnast.
For the youngest members of the community, the club offers a “Play Gym” programme for children under 11 years old. This programme provides unstructured sessions in a safe and friendly environment, giving children the opportunity to explore and enjoy gymnastics. The sessions run from Monday to Friday and Sunday, with free entry for one adult accompanying a fully paid child. Additional adults are charged a minimal fee of 1 per entry.
The club also offers a “Pre-School” programme, which is divided into two age groups: the Parent and Toddler sessions for children aged 2 years 6 months to 3 years 6 months, and the Independent sessions for children aged 3 years 6 months to reception school age. These sessions focus on building essential skills and are led by experienced coaches. The Pre-School sessions take place on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and require British Gymnastics Pre-School membership.
For individuals aged 4 years and above, the club offers a “Foundation (Beginner)” programme. This programme is perfect for those who are new to gymnastics or the Manchester Academy of Community Gymnastics. Led by British Gymnastics qualified coaches, this class provides a solid foundation in gymnastics and helps develop important life skills. Gymnasts in this programme may have the opportunity to progress through the club's Recreational Programme and participate in gymnastic competitions.
The Manchester Academy of Community Gymnastics strives to create a supportive and inclusive community for all its members. The club's dedicated team and commitment to providing high-quality coaching ensure that every gymnast can reach their full potential.
