Originally founded as a Junior AFL Club, the club expanded to include senior teams in 2012. Over the past 13 years, the Maitland Saints have experienced significant growth and now proudly boasts one of the largest memberships outside the Sydney competition.
With a strong and committed board overseeing its operations, the Maitland Saints AFC offers a welcoming and inclusive experience for all its members. The club currently has 14 teams registered in the Hunter Coast AFL competition, including junior male and female teams, as well as senior male and female teams. The club has seen phenomenal growth in its player numbers, increasing from 37 in its first year to over 330 in 2021, representing an impressive 800% increase.
