The Lower Hunter Aquanauts, an amateur swimming club based in Cessnock City Council, is excited to announce their upcoming swimming event! This is a fantastic opportunity for all swimming enthusiasts to come together and showcase their skills in the water.
Every Thursday night, the Aquanauts gather at the Kurri Kurri Aquatic Centre for an evening of exhilarating races. If you're interested in participating, make sure to register by 6.30pm, as the racing action kicks off promptly at 7pm. We don't want you to miss out on any of the excitement!
To become a member of the club, there is a registration fee of $85 per year for swimming members. Non-swimming members can also get in on the fun for just $16 per year. Families with multiple swimmers can take advantage of a special deal when registering more than one swimmer for a whole year. It's a great opportunity to get the entire family involved in this thrilling sport.
For those eager to join us for the next season, registration will take place prior to the race time on Thursday, October 14th, 2010, at the Kurri Kurri Aquatic Centre. And don't worry, if you can't make it that day, registration will also be available before each Thursday night race. We want to make sure everyone has a fair chance to join in on the fun!
The swimming season will run for an exciting duration, including three weeks of championships. Although the final date is yet to be announced, one thing is for sure – it's going to be an action-packed experience from start to finish. However, please note that there will be no swim club during school holidays. We encourage you to stay tuned for more information about specific dates and events in the near future.
So mark your calendars and prepare to dive into an incredible swimming event with the Lower Hunter Aquanauts. Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or just starting out, this is an opportunity not to be missed. Join us at the Kurri Kurri Aquatic Centre, and let's make a splash together!
