Currently, our watersports bookings have closed for winter but fret not, as we will be reopening on March 30th, 2024. To avoid any disappointment, we strongly recommend pre-booking your slots either online or by giving us a call. Be aware that all sessions are subject to availability and weather conditions to ensure your safety and satisfaction.
At Low Wood Bay Watersports Centre, we take pride in providing an extensive range of watersports and boat hire options. Regardless of your age or skill level, we have something tailored just for you. As an added bonus, visitors staying at any English Lakes Hotel can avail themselves a fantastic 10% discount on our watersports activities and courses.
Our doors are open seven days a week from 9am to 5pm. On top of that, we offer ample parking facilities free of charge exclusively for our customers. You will also find convenient changing rooms and showers, equipment hire services, and a well-stocked shop that offers refreshing beverages and watersports equipment.
Please note that while we welcome dogs on-site, they must be kept on leads at all times, except for paddleboards and specific boats. We want to ensure the safety and comfort of all our visitors and furry friends alike.
To reach our Watersports Centre, you can follow the A591 between Windermere and Ambleside. Car parking is available on-site, and if you are travelling via public transportation, the nearest railway station is at Windermere. Rest assured, our centre is licensed and regularly inspected by the South Lakeland District Council to meet all necessary standards.
