Our parkland course is known for its mature tree-lined fairways and challenging layout. The course has a rich history, with references to gowf being played at Loudoun dating back over 400 years. We are proud to be custodians of these original Scottish golfing values and traditions.

Gowf, the ancient Scottish word for golf, is enshrined in our club's name. This term has been used since the first ball was struck by the Duchess of Loudoun in 1909. As the only Gowf Club in the world, we embrace our unique heritage and the historical roots of the game.

Situated in the picturesque Irvine Valley, our course presents a variety of challenges, including well-bunkered greens, occasional burns, and strategically placed par 3s. The gentle undulating countryside, rolling hills, and lush greenery create a beautiful backdrop for a day of golf. Our convenient location, just a short drive from the Ayrshire coast and 30 minutes from Glasgow, makes us easily accessible.
