


Lorna Scott Fitness is a Pilates studio located in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire. Founded by Lorna Scott, a highly experienced and passionate fitness instructor with 25 years of teaching experience, the studio is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their health and fitness goals.
Lorna Scott Fitness offers a range of classes suitable for both beginners and seasoned exercisers. With a focus on holistic health, Lorna combines her expertise in Pilates, fitness training, and nutrition to create classes that promote physical and mental wellbeing. The studio offers a mix of Face-to-Face Classes, Live Streamed Classes via Zoom, and OnDemand Classes, providing flexibility and convenience to its members.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Lorna took the initiative to stay connected with her clients by creating regular video blogs and 5-minute daily exercise challenges. As restrictions on group exercise continued, she adapted and introduced live-streamed classes via Zoom, which quickly became popular among her members. Lorna understands the importance of maintaining both physical and mental health during challenging times and strives to create a nurturing environment where all members feel valued.
Lorna's fitness journey began in 1996 when she purchased a Rosemary Conley Diet & Fitness franchise. The training and knowledge she gained from this experience formed the foundation of her career in the fitness industry. She later launched her own diet and fitness programme called “Health for Life,” incorporating Zumba dance fitness classes in 2010. Following a back injury, Lorna discovered the benefits of Pilates and decided to become a certified Fitness Pilates teacher.
Today, Fitness Pilates creates the basis of the majority of her classes, providing a unique and effective way to improve physical strength, flexibility, and mental wellbeing.
