Loren James Dance Company, based in Caerphilly, is a dance school dedicated to nurturing and developing the passion and talent of dancers in the local community. Founded by Loren James, a seasoned dancer and competitor herself, LJDC aims to provide dancers with a platform to compete and grow at a National level, without the need to travel far.

Loren James, having trained and lived in London for over a decade, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the dance school. Her passion for investing in local dancers and giving them the opportunity to shine on a national stage is evident in everything LJDC does.

The team at LJDC comprises highly skilled and passionate individuals who are dedicated to helping dancers reach their full potential. Chloe Wallen, a trainer at LJDC, specialises in training championship junior and adult formation teams, as well as providing private lessons and classes. With her Associate level qualification in Latin American dance and an impressive list of competitive achievements, Chloe is a source of inspiration for dancers and parents alike.

Jody Hallam, an experienced Beautician and Makeup Artist, is an integral part of LJDC's on-site beauty salon, Prestige. Jody is responsible for getting dancers glammed up for competitions and also provides beauty services to a large base of regular local clients. With her qualification in Professional Latin from the United Kingdom Association, Jody brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.

Tayla-Leigh Rees, another valued member of the LJDC teaching staff, brings a vast amount of competitive experience to her role as a dance teacher. Having achieved National Finals in the Junior and Adult Formation sections herself, Tayla is able to offer valuable insights and guidance to her students. She teaches a range of dance classes, including Melody Bear, Little Latino's, and Medallist social dance classes.

Lauren Franklin, an established member of the teaching staff, is known for her nurturing and encouraging approach. She excels in her role as a trainer for LJDC's Formation Teams, and her caring and kind ways are appreciated by dancers in both group classes and private lessons.

Shannon Beytell, another addition to the LJDC teaching team, brings her extensive experience in Ballroom and Latin dance competitions. Having been a member of successful formation teams during her younger years, Shannon is passionate about passing on her knowledge and experience to the next generation of dancers.

Alexandra Morris, a dedicated and hard-working member of the LJDC team, joined the dance school from its inception. With years of training and competing at the highest level, Alex brings a wealth of dance knowledge and expertise to her role. At just 14 years old, she and her partner won the prestigious title of Champions of Tomorrow, showcasing her incredible talent and determination.

Ellie Smith, a skilled competitor and teacher, has seen great success in her dance career. With numerous titles under her belt, including WDC AL World Masters and WDC AL UK Champions, Ellie brings her expertise and passion to LJDC. She not only excels as a competitor but also proves herself to be an exceptional teacher, guiding dancers of all levels towards their goals.
