Looe Bowling Club, a thriving, and friendly bowls club located in the Hannafore area of West Looe, invites interested players to join in on a local Lawn Bowls event. Established in 1913, this club offers a picturesque location overlooking the sea front towards Looe Island, providing the perfect backdrop for bowlers of all levels to enjoy the sport.
Throughout the months of April to September, Looe Bowls actively engages in friendly fixtures, league matches, and hosts regular club nights and social events for its members. For those who are visiting Looe and want to have an occasional game, equipment is readily available for hire on-site. However, please do keep in mind that the Bowling Green, Putting, and Boule will be closed for the current 2023 season. Don't worry though, as the club will be reopening its doors in April 2024, ready to welcome all enthusiasts back onto the greens.
To enjoy a game at the Looe Bowling Club, the cost is just £6 per person for up to 2 hours of bowling delight. And for those who are interested in putting, prices are set at £3.50 for adults and £2.00 for children. The club's opening times run from the early morning until 4:30 pm. It's worth noting that as the putting green and bowls are managed by our dedicated club volunteers, there may be days when no one is available to open the kiosk. We appreciate your understanding.
