Locks Sailing Club has a rich history, with sailing and racing taking place in Langstone Harbour since 1907. It is situated near the old Milton Lock on the South West of the harbour, offering a picturesque and convenient location for sailing enthusiasts.
The club prides itself on its vibrant atmosphere and active racing fleet. Members can enjoy a range of dinghy sailing and racing opportunities, with various popular single and two-handed dinghies being sailed and raced. Junior Evenings at Locks SC run from May until the beginning of September, providing children aged 8 to 18 with the opportunity to enhance their sailing skills, learn how to race, and most importantly, have fun. While the sessions are not aimed at complete beginners, parents are welcome to utilise these sessions to teach their children to sail in a safe and supportive environment.
