As you continue along the route, you will come across the ruins of a mill. This mill was once used to grind corn, powered by a stream created from the loch. Take some time to visit a viewpoint over the water, accessible via steps beside the stream.

The route then takes you along the edge of the loch, through a mixture of native trees. Along the way, you will encounter a floating platform that offers stunning views of the lake. The path eventually leads to a boardwalk that overlooks Dubh Loch, a wetland transformed by beavers. Keep left onto the remains of a track and follow it, passing through a gate and descending steps to a boat jetty before reaching the road.
