Keith wants to invite you to join Loch Ard Sailing Club, a friendly club located in Stirling, Scotland, just eight kilometres from Aberfoyle. Nestled in the beautiful Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, it is a brilliant spot for sheltered sailing.
Conveniently accessible from central Scotland, members come from Glasgow, Stirling, Falkirk, Dollar, and Edinburgh. Loch Ard's calm, freshwater sailing conditions ensure an enjoyable experience, free from tides and currents.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Ben Lomond and the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, the scenery alone is worth the visit. Keith and the team work closely with RYA Scotland to promote sailing in the region and provide excellent facilities, including separate changing rooms, a coffee bar, and ample parking.
Safety cover is available during organised races, and members have full access to club facilities. While keelboat moorings are limited, plenty of space is available for cars and dinghies. The club owns powered boats for race management and dinghies and canoes for members to use.
Loch Ard Sailing Club also hosts social events throughout the year, from barbecues to dinners, welcoming children and non-sailing partners to join in the fun.
Please note that multi-hulls, jet-skis, and power boats are not permitted to ensure a peaceful sailing experience.
