Welcome to LJ Dance, a small but mighty dance and gymnastics school located in Chorley, New Zealand. LJ Dance is a small family with incredible coaches who are dedicated to inspiring and developing the skills of both new and existing members.

At LJ Dance, we believe that dance and gymnastics are not only unbelievable sports, but also art forms. Our club provides children with the opportunity to not only gain skills and knowledge of dance and gymnastic techniques, but also to develop lifelong skills, create lasting friendships, build confidence, encourage team support, and improve fitness.

We specialise in offering fun and exciting classes in both Dance and Gymnastics, aiming to inspire and encourage children and young adults of all abilities to learn and express their passion for these wonderful art forms.

Our classes include Acrobatic Gymnastics, where partnerships of gymnasts work together to perform figures consisting of acrobatic elements. Contemporary Dance, an expressive form of dance that incorporates elements from classical, modern, and jazz styles. Jazz Dance, which originated from Black American society and was popularised in ballrooms during the swing era. And Street Dance, a dance style that evolved outside dance studios and encompasses various urban dance styles.

What sets LJ Dance apart is our personal approach. We keep our classes small, allowing for a more personalised experience. Whether you want to become a professional dancer or simply dance and train for fun, we welcome individuals of all levels. We emphasise support and teamwork, and we strive to create a positive and inclusive environment for all dancers.

Affordability is important to us, and we offer the best prices for all our classes. Additionally, all our coaches are fully licenced, DBS checked, and insured, ensuring the safety and well-being of our members.

We also offer trial classes for all new members, providing them with the opportunity to experience our classes before making a commitment.

LJ Dance is a freelance company that runs classes in various locations around Lancashire and the North of England. In addition to our regular classes, we also offer exciting, curriculum-related workshops and classes to schools, colleges, and universities in a diverse range of dance styles. We also provide fun and energising after-school and lunch clubs in both Dance and Gymnastics.
