Lizard Argyle Football & Social Club

Lizard Argyle Football & Social Club, based in Helston, has been a cornerstone of the community since 1910. Thanks to its passionate fans and volunteers, it’s a beloved part of the area.

Members are the heartbeat of the club, coming from all corners of the region. Membership is just £12 per year, or £10 for renewals, available from the bar staff. Without their support, Lizard Argyle simply wouldn’t be what it is today.

The club hosts a range of sports, including football with teams in the Cornwall Combination League, Trelawney Division 2, and the Kernow Youth Football League. Managed by Craig Pollard and Ben Evans, the First Team leads the charge, with Reserve and Under 18s Teams coached by Pete Collins, Pete Rudd, Johnny Bray, and Gary Tremayne.

Beyond football, Lizard Argyle is home to Pool, Darts, and Euchre teams and offers entertaining events like live bands. The welcoming staff encourage everyone to join in for drinks, laughs, and chats with diverse folks.
