Livingston Karate Club

Adults and children as young as 9 years old are welcome to participate in the regular classes, while younger children between the ages of 5 and 8 can join the Dragon Ninjas classes, specially designed to introduce them to karate. The instructors and assistants at Livingston Karate Club have undergone Child protection courses and have undergone PVG checks with Disclosure Scotland and Volunteer Scotland to ensure the safety and well-being of all junior members.

Livingston Karate Club takes pride in being a family-friendly organisation. This is evident in their pricing structure and membership options. The club holds Club Accreditation with West Lothian Council and has been registered with them for ten years. They are also proud members of West Lothian Sports Council and hold an up-to-date registration as a Youth Group (registration number 70).

The club is led by Grahame Brown, a highly experienced 4th Dan instructor. The instructors at Livingston Karate Club all volunteer their time and expertise, with the fees collected being used to cover hall expenses, equipment, club social events, and professional training courses.
