LIUHE-ZIRANMEN MARTIAL ARTS is a renowned martial arts school located in South Yarra, Melbourne, Australia. It is dedicated to providing high-quality self-defence training and promoting physical fitness, strength, flexibility, health, and vitality.
Unlike general martial arts practises, LIUHE-ZIRANMEN focuses on internal martial arts, combatives, and sparring. The specialised arts of LiuHe-ZiRanMen aim to equip practitioners with practical and realistic self-defence methods and fighting skills. Training at the school consists of three key components: strength and flexibility training, internal and external fighting techniques, and traditional empty-hand and weapons training.
The training environment at LIUHE-ZIRANMEN MARTIAL ARTS is controlled, safe, and friendly, ensuring the safety and well-being of all practitioners. With a hands-on approach to self-defence and sparring, students are provided with the necessary means to learn and develop practical skill sets.
At the helm of the school is Coach Andrew Chambers, a highly experienced martial artist with over 30 years of training under his belt. Andrew has explored numerous martial arts and committed himself to Kungfu and Sanda in the early 2000s, seeking practical skill sets for reality-driven self-defence. As an instrumental pioneer of LiuHe-ZiRanMen Kungfu in Melbourne, he founded LIUHE-ZIRANMEN MARTIAL ARTS in 2016. Andrew has trained with respected masters, coaches, and trainers within the martial arts and fitness industry, achieving competition success both nationally and internationally.
He has also undertaken training pilgrimages to Thailand and the famous Shaolin temple in China.
In addition to his martial arts expertise, Andrew is a Doctor of Chinese medicine, specialising in Oriental therapies and Chinese medicine. Building upon his martial arts practise and medical expertise, he promotes the integration of life skills, emphasising the importance of daily practise in movement, meditation, stretching, and practical self-defence skill sets.
LIUHE-ZIRANMEN MARTIAL ARTS offers a variety of classes throughout the week. On Mondays, there are Yin Yang Yoga and Ziran Qigong classes from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, followed by Martial Arts and Striking classes from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Wednesdays feature Yin Yang Yoga and Ziran Qigong from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, followed by Kickboxing and Striking classes from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. On Saturdays, there are Yin Yang Yoga and Ziran Qigong classes from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, with Martial Arts and Striking classes from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
